House Calls

Due to Covid-19, we are unable to offer house calls at this time. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. If you would like a house call please contact Dr. Plowman at Sandy Paws Mobile Vet at 919-576-0449. She is an amazing doctor who we had the pleasure of working with until she was ready to start her own business.

The veterinarians and staff at Robinson Animal Hospital offer house calls as part of our services because we understand that at times, a trip to the veterinary hospital with your pet is too difficult for you, or too stressful for your pet. In addition, some procedures, such as end of life care, may best be carried out in the comfort of your own home. House calls are available for those who have this need.

The following procedures can be performed in your home:

Examinations

Annual laboratory testing, including: heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, feline leukemia/FIV testing, collection of samples for blood panels, urine and fecal testing.

External parasite evaluation

Vaccinations

Nail Trim

Subcutaneous fluid administration

Hospice care

Euthanasia

Please call us with as much lead time as possible to inquire about scheduling a house call. Schedule permitting, we are happy to travel to your home in Clayton, Garner, Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, Raleigh, Smithfield, Selma, Willow Springs, Fuquay Varina, Cleveland Township, Eastern Wake County and Western Johnston County. Call us today at 919-553-7173 for an appointment or fill out our online appointment form.
